PROJECT

Coastal city living at its best. The Bondi house inherited some great (albeit quirky!) spaces from the previous building designers. Double height void spaces are used to flood the interiors with natural daylight and better connect living spaces over multiple levels. Warm, but paired back materials flow throughout the house extending to the landscaped garden and plunge pool.

The emphasis is on relaxed living. Showering off sand after being at the beach. Entertaining outside near the pool. Robust materials that can stand day to day knocks from a young family. The kid’s rooms open up to a generous media area with large sliding doors, making for fun, fluid spaces for learning and playing.

The kitchen is like being on the prow of a ship with views over rooftops toward the ocean, while also providing surveillance over the pool below.
